Red pesto, which has become traditional in Ligurian cuisine, is a variant of the classic Ligurian pesto. The main ingredients, such as Basilico Genovese DOP, Grana Padano and Pine nuts, are combined with tomato sauce, which gives this creamy sauce a Mediterranean flavor.
Obtained by cold grinding and homogenization of the ingredients that compose it, it is ideal for seasoning pasta dishes, for flavoring fish dishes or for preparing delicious bruschetta.
